National School Lunch Week (NSLW) is October 9-13, 2023. This annual event serves as a nationwide celebration of the National School Lunch Program, a cornerstone of student nutrition. The 88th Legislative Session amended state law and the Texas Education Code regarding vaping and e-cigarettes. House Bill 114 requires mandatory placement of a student in DAEP for selling, giving, delivering, possessing, using, or being under the influence of marijuana, THC, or e-cigarettes within 300 feet of school property as measured from any point on the school's real property boundary line, or while attending a school-sponsored or school-related activity on or off school property. *Azle ISD has vape detectors installed in all restrooms on secondary campuses.

Today is National Constitution Day! On September 17, 1787, the U.S. Constitution was signed by delegates to the Constitutional Convention. The 2023 Homecoming Parade will be on Monday, Sept. 25, at 6 p.m. A mandatory pre-parade meeting will be held at the Azle ISD Administration Bldg. on Thursday, Sept. 14, at 6 p.m. An adult representative for each entry MUST be present at the meeting. If a group or organization has more than one entry, there must be an adult representative for each entry present. An entry form must be completed & turned in by the end of the pre-parade meeting on Sept. 14. No entries will be accepted after the September 14 meeting. More info at www.azleisd.net.
