Azle High School

The Azle ISD 2025-2026 Academic Calendar was approved by the board of trustees on Monday, December 16, 2024.

The first day of classes for students will be Wednesday, August 13, 2025. The first semester will be from August 13-December 18, 2025, and the second semester will be from January 6-May 21, 2026.

Student and staff holidays are September 1, October 13, November 24-28, December 22-January 2, January 19, February 16, March 16-20, and May 25. Early release days are December 18, March 12, and May 21.

The key at the bottom of the calendar provides additional details regarding teacher work days, staff development days, staff flex days, nine-week grading periods, and school start and dismissal times.

Thank you to our District Leadership Team (DLT) for their work creating calendar options for Azle ISD staff to vote on. The DLT includes representatives from each campus, parent representatives, and community/business representatives.
