Azle ISD joins districts across the state to celebrate January as School Board Recognition Month.
The theme for 2024 is Locally Elected, Community Connected, which highlights the connection between school trustees and their communities. School board members are the largest group of locally-elected officials in the state.
School board members are elected community volunteers who serve without pay for the betterment of their local schools and communities. They dedicate countless hours of their time, shoulder critical responsibilities, and strive to make the best choices for our district - with their focus always on the future success of our students.
Azle ISD is celebrating our trustees for their commitment and contributions to our district and encourages our community to join us in recognizing the hard work of these dedicated individuals.
