The district held its annual convocation and vendor fair at Azle High School on Thursday, August 3, kicking off the 2023-2024 school year for more than 1,000 district employees!
More than 80 local businesses and organizations participated in the vendor fair which took place prior to convocation, allowing Azle ISD employees the opportunity to spend time together, have some fun, and support our local businesses.
Convocation speakers included Superintendent Todd Smith, Board President Bill Lane, Mayor Pro-Tem Randa Goode, Chamber President Marcy Pinkston, AEF representative Phillippe Lalonde, and guest speaker Johnathon Grant Brown.
Pledges were led by AHS Student Body President Melani Rushing and AHS Cheer, Dazzlers, and Marching Green Pride performed to wrap up the event. #WeAreAzle #HornetsInAction
