Azle ISD welcomed more than 100 new teachers and professional employees to the district on August 1-2, 2023.
On Wednesday, August 2, more than 20 of our new teachers who are also new to the profession, were each presented with a $250 Amazon gift card from the Azle Education Foundation to help with classroom decorations and supplies!
The Azle Area Chamber of Commerce provided gift bags from local businesses for new staff and Educational Employees Credit Union (EECU) provided one lucky new Hornet with a $50 gift!
EECU also sponsored breakfast for new staff and a BBQ lunch was provided by State Representative Charlie Geren.
On Tuesday, August 1, all new-to-Azle ISD teachers and professionals attended orientation and
professional development. Our new Hornets started the day at Admin before boarding buses and touring the district with their very own Azle ISD tour guide!
