Congrats Teresa Moore: 2023-24TASSP Region 11 AP of the Year

Join us in congratulating Azle High School Assistant Principal Teresa Moore for being selected to represent the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals (TASSP) as a Region 11 Assistant Principal of the Year! 

TASSP recognizes outstanding principals and assistant principals from the 20 region Education Service Centers in the state. School administrators are nominated and chosen by their peers within their regions. Nominations are based on exemplary performance and outstanding leadership.  As a Region 11 winner, she is eligible to compete for the state title of Texas Assistant Principal of the Year.

Teresa, a 13-year assistant principal has been a member of the leadership team at Azle High School since 2011.  She attended Tarleton State University earning a bachelor's degree in Exercise Sports Studies, and a master's degree in Educational Leadership from Midwestern State University. Teresa sees herself as being a risk taker, visionary, and leader of learners. Teresa loves working with students, teachers, and parents from the Azle ISD community.

Each of the region winners will be recognized during the Josten’s Night of the Stars Awards Dinner held in conjunction with the TASSP Summer held each year in June in Austin.  Each will be presented with an award and recognized in a commemorative book entitled Texas Principals, Texas Heroes.  Congratulations, Teresa! #WeAreAzle
