The 88th Legislative Session amended state law and the Texas Education Code regarding vaping and e-cigarettes. House Bill 114 requires mandatory placement of a student in DAEP for selling, giving, delivering, possessing, using, or being under the influence of marijuana, THC, or e-cigarettes within 300 feet of school property as measured from any point on the school's real property boundary line, or while attending a school-sponsored or school-related activity on or off school property.
