The Azle High School Varsity Winter Guard traveled to Dayton, Ohio, April 11-13, where they competed against 120 other units at the Winter Guard International (WGI) World Championships.
Azle's Color Guard beat 109 other units from across the country to earn a top 20 finalist position for the first time in Azle Guard history.
Azle Guard placed 11th in the finals, just four points behind the top five, and competed for an audience of more than 10,000 spectators at the final show!
Watch their stunning performance, with the first professional multi-cam of the Azle Winter Guard.
"This unit has a STRONG future, with half of the guard being completely new to the high school program here at Azle," said Color Guard Director Caleb Hunter. "These students have worked so hard, and it shows!"
Congratulations, AHS Color Guard!
