Azle High School has been recognized by Carter BloodCare as the number one 5A High School in North Texas for 2023 blood donations! This award is for the total units collected from January 1-December 31, 2023.
During 2023, AHS Student Council hosted four blood drives and collected 411 units of blood (299 whole blood, 101 red cells, and 11 plasma units) saving up to 1009 lives. AHS also had a total of 244 first-time donors.
