Azle ISD is pleased to announce Greg Davis as the new Band Director of Azle High School.
Mr. Davis is in his eighth year of teaching in public education. He joined the Azle High School faculty as assistant band director five years ago and has been instrumental in leading the Marching Green Pride and concert ensembles to become the successful bands they are today. He taught in Fort Bend ISD for three years before coming to Azle.
Davis holds a Master of Music Education Degree from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Music Performance Degree from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He lives in Azle with his wife, Kacie, and they are excited to welcome their first child into the world this June.
“I am incredibly honored to be given the privilege of leading the Azle Band into the future, and cannot wait to foster wonderful relationships with students, parents, administration, and the Azle community,” said Davis.
We are excited to welcome Mr. Davis to this new role and look forward to the continued success of our award-winning band program under his leadership.
