Wellness Promotion and Marketing Topics include: Not using physical activity as a punishment but as a reward instead, not withholding physical activity, how staff should model healthy behavior, marketing should only be for items that can be sold during the school day, what marketing does the district have that promotes a healthy lifestyle. Marketing AND Implementation, Evaluation, and Communication Topics Include: Legal requirements SHAC follows for Implementation & Evaluation which are best assessed by establishing SMART goals (specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) and how all of this is communicated with the public.
