The purpose of the Azle ISD Long Range Facilities Planning Committee (LRFPC) is to represent the Azle ISD community in studying data related to enrollment projections, housing trends, finances, instructional priorities, and facility needs. The committee represents the voice of our community and their input is invaluable.
The committee is comprised of Azle ISD community members who represent various roles and campus representatives who meet regularly to evaluate data and determine immediate and future facility needs for the district due to growing student enrollment and aging facilities. Each Azle ISD has a campus representative on the committee who is a registered Azle ISD voter.
After an in-depth process of information gathering, research, and prioritization, the committee provides feedback and recommendations to district administration and the school board regarding priorities, timelines, and potential costs for capital improvements through bond programs while being fiscally sound for our community.
