Junior High Workout Clothing F.A.Q’s 

New for the 2024-25 SY -  Azle ISD Athletics will provide workout clothing for ALL junior high athletes. Parents will have the OPTION to purchase an additional set (or sets) of clothing through an online store. The online store is through Game One Sports, not Kim’s Kloset like in years past.

We understand from information we have gathered that it may have been communicated early in March at a parent meeting for incoming 7th graders to start contacting Kim’s Kloset to order athletic clothes. This was not incorrect information at the time, the Athletic Department was just unaware that it was being communicated to correct it before any confusion was caused. 

We hope this information and the information below answers any remaining questions. Again, we apologize for any confusion on this subject. Please reach out to Michael Sain, Athletic Director, with any additional questions at michael.sain@azleisd.net. 

Below are answers to questions we have received since this was announced this Spring. 

Do parents need to buy workout clothing for their son or daughter? No. It is completely optional. If parents do not wish to purchase clothing, they won’t need to because the district is providing workout clothing for all junior high athletes.

Are we still using Kim’s Kloset? No. We are using Game One Sports.

What if I already ordered clothing from Kim’s Kloset this spring before learning about the district providing clothing and the new online store through Game One? If you ordered or have workout clothing already from Kim’s Kloset your child may wear it if something happens to their school-issued clothing. It will always be our desire for our athletes to dress as a team but we understand that this is a transition year. 

Is the school washing and drying the clothing every day? Yes. The school-issued clothing will not be allowed to go home with the student. This will ensure that our athletes will always have workout clothes at school. 

If we purchase clothing from the online store, will it be washed every day at school like the school-issued clothing? Yes, it will be cared for the same way as the school-issued clothing. But since this is not school-issued clothing the athletes will also be able to take it home and wash it since they own it. 

Will my son or daughter get the same clothing back after it has been washed? Yes. Clothing will be issued to athletes to use the entire school year. 

If my son or daughter is not in the athletic period but still competes for an Azle ISD team like cross country, tennis, soccer, and/or wrestling do they need to have workout clothing? Yes. It will be provided to them like all other athletes representing Azle ISD. 

Will my son or daughter have their name on the back of the school-issued shirt? No. This is school-issued clothing that is not owned by the athlete. 

Will my son or daughter have their name on the back of the shirt that I would purchase through the Game One online store? No. This will not be an option.

How would I order through Game One if I want to purchase additional workout clothing for my child?
